Dr. Todd Niemeier

Todd Niemeier is a lifelong resident of Evansville.  He attended Resurrection Grade School, Mater Dei High School, the University of Southern Indiana for undergraduate studies (BS Biology) and Indiana University for Optometry School.  Upon graduating from IU in 2002, Dr. Niemeier joined A.C. Stocker at Professional Eyecare Associates.  Dr. Stocker had started the practice in 1951 and brought it to its current location on Franklin Street in 1955.

Dr. Niemeier believes in giving back to his profession.  He has served as the Southwestern Optometric Society’s Secretary-Treasurer, Vice President, and President.  He has also served as the Southwestern Trustee for the Indiana Optometric Association (IOA), as well Secretary-Treasurer, Vice President, and President.  He has been a member of the American Optometric Association since 1998.  While in school, he received the VSP (Vision Service Plan) Scholarship Award for demonstrating excellence in the pursuit of primary care skills.  In 2008, he was awarded the President’s Citation (also known as the Young Optometrist of the Year Award) by the IOA.  He has been the Evansville Courier and Press winner in the category of “Best Optometrist” nine times.

Dr. Niemeier and his wife Babs have been married since 2003.  They met while Todd and Babs’ brother Jeremy played baseball together in 1997 for the Evansville Otters.  They have two daughters, Olivia and Marissa.  Todd enjoys coaching his daughter’s sports teams, spending time with family, and sports in general.  They are active members of Resurrection Catholic Church.


Dr. Morgan Hussmann

Professional Eyecare Associates is pleased to have Dr. Morgan Hussmann as part of their team delivering primary care for their patients.  Dr. Hussmann is known for friendly demeanor with her patients and her excellent clinical skills.  She addresses all ocular issues such as diabetic care, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and refractive surgery options with her patients.  Dr. Hussmann takes the time with patients to make sure that all of their concerns and questions are addressed.

Dr. Hussmann was born and raised in Evansville and graduated from North High School in 1999.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Purdue University in 2003 and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University in 2007.  After graduation, Dr. Hussmann moved back to Evansville and began her career practicing at Professional Eyecare Associates.  She has been married to her husband Matt since 2006.  They have three children, Finn, Dane, and Hattie.  Dr. Hussmann and her husband are very involved in their church community at CFC, serving in a variety of different ministries.

Dr. Hussmann has served on optometric mission trips in Central and South America.  She has also served as the Southwestern Optometric Society’s Secretary-Treasurer, Vice President, and President.  Dr. Hussmann has been a member of the Indiana Optometric Association and American Optometric Association since 2003.
